JSMO reviews your application for completeness and compliance with submission requirements. You may be contacted for additional information or clarification.
An on site factory verification may be conducted, and evaluation is performed to verify that the product meets the JO-Ecolabel Criteria throughout its lifecycle.
JSMO reviews the verification results and LCA data and provides a recommendation on whether the product meets the JO-Ecolabel Criteria.
Based on the committee's recommendation, JSMO makes the final certification decision. Successful applicants receive the JO-Ecolabel certificate and the right to use the logo on their certified products.
